It has been a quiet summer. I have been finishing the third in the Simon Serrailler crime series, THE RISK OF DARKNESS.

I am appearing at THE ILKLEY LITERATURE FESTIVAL on Sunday October 14th a 3.30… I love Ilkley, and of course prefer to go back to my Yorkshire roots for any occasion !

STUDENTS

New school pupils in GCSE, AS and A level years will be starting to tackle I`M THE KING OF THE CASTLE, STRANGE MEETING, THE WOMAN IN BLACK and possibly some of my short stories.

The Student Message Board starts to get busy half way through this term. Do look at it, post your questions for others to pick up… even me ! But before you send me individual e-mails direct PLEASE READ THE FAQs.. so many students fire off a question to me when it has already been answered.

I help where and when I can but my time is limited for this and in any case, I won’t do anybody`s work for them.

THE WOMAN IN BLACK
