We have had three Border Terrier puppies… they are 8 weeks now and have been causing chaos, but are off to their permanent homes this weekend. Life can go calm again.

I have also started a Masters Degree in Theology, part-time and Distance, from the University of Wales, Lampeter… so am back in essay-writing mode for the first time in a very great many years.

My small publishing company Long Barn Books has just published E IS FOR EATING by Tom Parker Bowles .. see the website www.eisforeating.com for more information. So it has been very busy all round.

BUT, I am a good third of the way into the writing of the third in the 3 part crime novel sequence about DCI Simon Serrailler. This one is called THE RISK OF DARKNESS.. and there is a free copy of the first volume for anyone who can identify the quotation from which THE RISK OF DARKNESS is taken. I bet there are no takers!

EDIT:
Lots of people have had a stab at identifying THE RISK OF DARKNESS.. all wrong. So one clue is ' stop thinking of English literature ..though it is not a translation!
